Bulletin #85-12: C64 Power Supply Advisory

Affected Products: Original Commodore 64 (breadbin) power supplies manufactured 1982-1984

Issue: Some early power supplies may develop voltage regulation issues over time, potentially causing damage to the computer.

Recommendation: If your power supply feels excessively hot or your C64 behaves erratically, discontinue use and contact an authorized service center.

Bulletin #85-09: 1541 Drive Head Alignment

Affected Products: 1541 disk drives

Issue: Drive heads may drift out of alignment with heavy use, causing read errors.

Solution: Head alignment is a routine service procedure available at any authorized service center. Cost: approximately $35-50.
